Sophie Goodhand

Sophie Goodhand - Assistant Psychologist

Sophie graduated from the University of Bristol with a First Class Honours degree in Psychology. Since university, Sophie has taken a particular interest in supporting young people and children with their mental health and learning needs.

Becoming a support worker at the age of 17 for an Autistic child inspired this line of work for Sophie. This early experience led to roles as Teaching Assistant in a school for children with Special Educational Needs, an English teacher in Vietnam, and a Youth Mentor for a Youth Empowerment Project that supports young people facing a diverse mental health challenges. These experiences have reinforced Sophie’s passion for the mental health and well-being of young people and drive to fulfil a career in Psychology.
