Key Experience
Qualified Mental Health Nurse, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist with 9 years experience working in mental health settings, including inpatient and CAMHS.
Experience working with a range of difficulties including Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Social Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Separation anxiety, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD.
Jodie Grosvenor’s Special Interests
Jodie aims to build strong therapeutic relationships by creating a safe a trusting space for young people to feel comfortable in sharing their difficulties. Jodie works hard to support young people to understand and make sense of their difficulties, working together to make positive changes.
Jodie draws on a range of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Adolescents (DNAV), Narrative Exposure Therapy and Parent as Therapist approaches.
Jodie works with children and young people to support them with their difficulties.
Jodie has a special interest in working with OCD and PTSD, using CBT or EMDR Therapy.
