Dr Lucy Russell is a clinical psychologist with over twenty years of experience supporting children, teenagers and families. She completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsyc) at Oxford University and worked in the NHS for 11 years, including as Clinical Lead for the specialist autism service in Windsor and Maidenhead CAMHS, and programme lead for Reading’s therapeutic Multi-dimensional Treatment Foster Care (MTFC) service.
In 2012, Lucy and her husband Mike founded Everlief Child Psychology to give families caring, practical and professional support with children’s emotions and behaviour. As Clinical Director, she oversees safeguarding, clinical quality and wider online support for parents through her website They Are The Future, launched in 2019.
They Are The Future offers friendly, down-to-earth guidance for parents, including articles, courses and the Everlief Parent Club membership. Lucy’s online resources focus on giving parents practical strategies to help their children through the ups and downs of family life. Her specialist interests include autism, ADHD, anxiety, and self-esteem in children and teens.
