Dr Laurie Preston - Clinical Psychologist

Key Experience:

  • Since 2014 Laurie has worked in a range of NHS and private mental health services, becoming a clinical psychologist in 2023.

  • In her NHS capacity, Laurie works as a clinical psychologist in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team (CAMHS), supporting young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs

  • Laurie has contributed to a number of research papers in relation to supporting children and young people with developmental challenges, as well as their carers

Dr Laurie Preston's Special Interests:

  • Working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs, including autism and ADHD

  • Collaborating with families and networks to provide comprehensive support addressing the holistic needs of young individuals

  • Providing neuropsychological and cognitive assessments
