Doctorate in Clinical Psychology / Chartered Psychologist [D.Clin.Psy., C.Psychol]
Key Experience
Has worked in a variety of mental health settings both within the NHS and the private sector since 2011
Completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oxford
Experience of working with a wide range of children and young people with behavioural, anger, mood and anxiety difficulties
Extensive previous experience working within NHS inpatient and crisis/outreach services with young people with a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, emotion dysregulation, psychosis and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Dr Laura Marshall’s Special Interests
Working with children and young people experiencing emotional distress or mental health problems, including low mood, anxiety, OCD, sleep problems
Working with young people experiencing emotion dysregulation and/or autism
Working with young people who have experiences of trauma – Dr Laura Marshall is trained in a range of trauma therapies including EMDR Level 1
Dr Laura Marshall draws on a range of therapeutic models as part of my clinical practice including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion-focused therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy
