Doctorate in Clinical Psychology / Chartered Psychologist [D.Clin.Psy., C.Psychol]

Key Experience:

• Katie worked in the NHS as a qualified Clinical Psychologist for nearly ten years before moving into private practice in 2014.

• Since qualifying, Katie has worked exclusively within child and adolescent mental health services with young people with a range of developmental and mental health difficulties.

• Previously was clinical lead for specialist neurodevelopmental team (CAMHS) providing services across Buckinghamshire.

Dr Katie Stockford’s Special Interests:

• Assessing and supporting children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions – autism, ADHD and tic disorders.

• Working with children and young people with anxiety-based difficulties, including OCD.

• Undertaking cognitive (psychometric) assessments.
