Key Experience
28 years experience working in the NHS in a variety of settings including within schools, A&E, community CAMHS, crisis teams and forensic (community, Liaison And Diversion, prison and secure units).
Experience of working with young people with a range of difficulties, including low mood, anxiety, psychosis, anger, low self esteem and behavioural difficulties.
Wide experience of supporting young people with neurodevelopmental difficulties.
Previously worked in Crisis and outreach team providing community support for hard to engage children and young people with complex mental health needs often as an alternative to inpatient admission.
Currently working in an NHS team as a service manager in London managing services that work within police custody, courts and youth justice teams.
Experience of working with large professional systems and providing supervision and teaching to other mental health services.
Previously worked as Nurse Consultant in self injurious behaviours and provided leadership to a full DBT programme.
