Key Experience

• 28 years experience working in the NHS in a variety of settings including within schools, A&E, community CAMHS, crisis teams and forensic (community, Liaison And Diversion, prison and secure units).

• Experience of working with young people with a range of difficulties, including low mood, anxiety, psychosis, anger, low self esteem and behavioural difficulties.

• Wide experience of supporting young people with neurodevelopmental difficulties.

• Previously worked in Crisis and outreach team providing community support for hard to engage children and young people with complex mental health needs often as an alternative to inpatient admission.

• Currently working in an NHS team as a service manager in London managing services that work within police custody, courts and youth justice teams.

• Experience of working with large professional systems and providing supervision and teaching to other mental health services.

• Previously worked as Nurse Consultant in self injurious behaviours and provided leadership to a full DBT programme.
