Andrea Lloyd - Educational Psychologist

• As an established Educational Psychologist, Andrea has over 25 years of professional experience, covering international and UK-based roles, in both the private and public sectors.
  This experience encompasses roles within the Local Authority across a range of settings,
  including nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools, and colleges. Furthermore, it spans
  seven years as an Educational Psychologist at a large, non-selective, private school in
  Brussels.

• Andrea is passionate about driving positive change for young people, creating environments at school and home that enable them to feel more confident and knowledgeable, while catering to the unique strengths and needs of each individual. Andrea firmly believes that a solution-focused approach can ultimately enable all children to find their chosen careers and live healthy, happy lives.

• Andrea is particularly skilled in using consultations, assessments and observations to identify a young person’s strengths and barriers to learning. This clear understanding of the situation forms the basis of an individual action plan.

• Andrea is a member of the Local Authority decision-making panel and the EHCNA panel, which involves working collaboratively with a wide range of professionals.

• Andrea supervises trainee doctoral students and Emotional Literacy support assistants. Andrea also works as part of a multidisciplinary team involved in assessments for Autism.
