Key Experience

  • Over 12 years experience of working with children and families across a range of settings including NHS, private sector and research
  • Worked with people who have a range of presenting problems and of all different age ranges
  • Since qualifying 5 years ago, Liz has worked primarily in the private sector with children and families, from pre-school to adolescence, facing a variety of mental health and behavioural challenges including separation anxiety, depression, anger issues and low mood
  • Liz worked with Dr Michelle Garnett and Professor Tony Attwood in Australia specialising in diagnostic assessments and group interventions for people with Asperger’s and Autistic Spectrum Conditions
  • Liz continues to receive supervision from Dr Michelle Garnett, Specialist Clinical Psychologist in Autism Spectrum Conditions

  • Specific interest in working clinically with people with autistic spectrum conditions experiencing anxiety difficulties and behavioural challenges and supporting social skill development
